The PlumpJack wine program began with the premise that wine is one of life's great pleasures and should be enjoyed as often as possible as part of a complete dining experience. When PlumpJack Cafe opened in 1994, our wine pricing policy immediately made news, as we became the only top restaurant in San Francisco to sell wine at retail prices. Today, value continues to be a cornerstone of all wine programs. To remain congruent with the style of cuisine, the list at Jack Falstaff will feature wine producers who are "getting back to the land" either through organic or biodynamic viticulture-many take this a step further by incorporating non-interventionist methods in the cellar. The results, are wines of unadulterated purity, that speak of the place from which they come.
